The ideas on conducting responsible business was the hallmark of my training and yes, it did not let me sleep peacefully. There were many questions to be addressed like –
Such thoughts, in parts though, had led me to start playing with materials like jute and raffia and of late with bamboo, banana, organic and BCI cotton initiatives. This saw me incorporate it somehow in the vast palette of my different products viz. sustainable webbing, belts with sustainable webbing, sustainable footwear uppers.
We make fashion accessories. This would mean that we are also responsible for the way and manner in which it is being made. The innate conscientiousness to do the things in the right manner is always welcome.
So, we are pledging herewith to think and utilize our natural resources with extreme caution and care. To leave as little carbon footprint as possible for the generations to come.
To be honest, we have conventional facilities which was based on conventional wisdom. We shall now strive to act more responsibly so that we move closer to a better and sustainable future.

This textile fibre is sourced from Banana Plant stems and is fine& shiny, absorbs and releases moisture very fast. Very eco-friendly and characterized as the best amongst various textile fibres, it has afforded an opportunity to India to rank amongst the top producers of apparel grade banana fibre. Further, this is looked at as an artisan’s delight because of its pliability and easy adaptability to churn out quickly weaved products whether it be hats, baskets, cloths and even our braided cords for making beautiful fashion raffia braids for belts or footwear uppers.
