India Braids as you can make out was named after this very essential commodity in our everyday life – braided cords or simply put as braids. So, it has just been our journey of weaving together of fibres into plaits and then gradually fashioning lifestyle items by making various accessories out of them.

We graduated from making waxed cotton braided cords to webbings, belts and footwear uppers by just maintaining a steady eye on the products required in our kind of market segment. We work with leather cords, waxed cotton, banana cords, bamboo cords, polyester cords, raffia cords and also use them extensively in our final products viz. webbings, braids, belts and footwear uppers. It is also true that we still do not have the exact range or the spectrum which our products may have a fit or an application.
